BD Romney was born from a dream: to create an honest, transparent, and genuinely fun online betting experience for the people of Bangladesh. From a small office in Dhaka to the trust of millions of users — the journey hasn't been easy, but we're proud of every step.
It was 2019. In a small flat in Tejgaon, Dhaka, seven people shared a dream — to build an honest and transparent online betting platform for the people of Bangladesh. Back then, placing a bet online meant navigating foreign sites with no Bangla support and endless payment headaches. BD Romney was built to fill exactly that gap.
In the first month, there were only a few hundred users. But those who came, stayed — because BD Romney gave them something they couldn't find anywhere else. Support in Bangla, withdrawals via Mobile Pay and Nagad, and a team that actually responded when something went wrong. These three simple things set BD Romney apart right from the start.
The name BD Romney comes from "Bangladesh Dream." The founding team believed that every Bangladeshi can move closer to their dreams — as long as they're given the right opportunity.
During the pandemic in 2020, as people looked for entertainment from home, BD Romney's user base grew rapidly. The pressure was real — we scaled servers, expanded the team, and worked through the night. But not a single user had a bad experience during that period, and that's something we're genuinely proud of.
From 2021 to 2023, BD Romney expanded across all of Bangladesh. Not just Dhaka or Chittagong — from tea garden workers in Sylhet to fishermen in Cox's Bazar, mango farmers in Rajshahi to boatmen in Barisal — BD Romney is now a familiar name in all 64 districts of Bangladesh.
Today, BD Romney has over 1.2 million registered members. Millions of BDT are processed in payments every day. From cricket to football, slots to Live Casino, daily lottery to Mega Draw — BD Romney is no longer just a betting site. It's become a go-to destination for online entertainment in Bangladesh.
